Theology

EICM emphasizes the importance of theology in deepening believers’ understanding of God, His Word, and His will. Theology strengthens the believer’s relationship with God by revealing His character, redemptive plan, and purpose for humanity. It guards against false teachings, as Colossians 2:8 warns against deceptive philosophies, and upholds the authority of Scripture as 2 Timothy 3:16–17 affirms, equipping believers for every good work.

Theology also prepares believers to defend their faith and discern truth, as 1 Peter 3:15 instructs. It strengthens gospel witness, advances discipleship, and supports the Great Commission. Grounded in truth, theology empowers believers to live faithfully, grow spiritually, and serve effectively with conviction and knowledge.
